Responsibilities:

• Assist the dietician in preparing materials, equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and serve food to patients in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Perform kitchen duties such as washing dishes or pots, utensils etc., cleaning floors and counters, and removing trash.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
• Order and keep inventory of food, kitchen supplies etc. (e.g. towels, food ingredients etc.).
• Ensure that all food served is properly labeled and stored at appropriate temperatures.
• Handle patient interaction in a professional manner.
• Respond to requests for special diets.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times when handling sensitive information.
• Record appropriate details about patients' health conditions for future reference.
• Communicate with dietician about scheduling, meal preferences etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
