Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to join our team. As an Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in a nursing home or hospice care setting. Your role will involve various duties to ensure the well-being and comfort of the individuals under your care.

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs of individuals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Help individuals with mobility by providing assistance with walking, transferring, and lifting
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure coordinated care

Skills:
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Experience working in a nursing home or hospice care setting is preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $20.90 per hour
