Director, Grants and Research Operations

The Director, Grants and Research Operations, will direct, plan, write, and submit all competitive, state, federal, and foundation grants and direct grant-related technical assistance during the life of awarded grants. The Director, Grants and Research Operations, will oversee collaboration between the district and internal and external partners in all grant projects and provide grant-related technical assistance for all entitlement and competitive grants with support of the program managers and/or project directors.

Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the district.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration and Supervision or related field preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in classroom teaching required, with three (3) years of related management or supervisory experience required. Grants experience preferred.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate: Educational Leadership, School Principal, or Administration and Supervision preferred,
