We're excited to offer you an incredible opportunity to join our team as a Resident Aide through our Educational Assistance Program. This program is designed to help you become a Direct Care Aide (DCA) by enrolling in an accredited education course. While you work as a Resident Aide with us, you'll be on your journey to achieving full certification status as a DCA, which allows you to work in any Assisted Living Community in the state of VA.

Your Path to Success:

To participate in this exceptional program, we require your commitment to two essential conditions:

  1. Having Compassion and Passion for working with Seniors and the Elderly.

  2. Remain employed as a DCA with us for at least one (1) calendar year after completing the course and passing the skills test.

Position Highlights:

  • Be a crucial part of residents' lives by assisting with daily activities, possobly bathing, toileting, dressing, etc...

  • Develop strong service orientation skills, active listening, critical thinking, and close monitoring of clients.

  • Gain a basic understanding of medical terminology, enhancing your knowledge and capabilities.

  • Participate in Life Enrichment Activities, making a positive impact on residents' quality of life.

  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions.

  • Create and maintain a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Salary/ Wage Range

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
