We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our welcoming and supportive Salmon Creek Post Acute and Rehabilitation team. Our community thrives on ensuring a delightful customer experience, and we're seeking a professional who can make the admission process a smooth and memorable journey for our residents.

#SCPA&RAs an Admissions Coordinator, you'll be the vital link connecting all internal departments, meticulously coordinating each step of the admission process. Your role is not only administrative; it's pivotal in shaping an extraordinary experience for our customers. You'll also manage the all-important data entry into our electronic health record system (CRM or similar system).

Your Credentials:

  • High school diploma
  • Degrees in health care management, medical social work, or marketing are beneficial but not mandatory
  • 3-5 years of stellar customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with the healthcare delivery system and medical vocabulary or an interest in sales is a bonus
  • Possession of a current health certificate/examination as required by State Agencies

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Admission Coordination:

  • Manage consumer inquiries and convert them into successful admissions
  • Ensure admission paperwork is completed promptly and efficiently
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to guarantee smooth arrival for our residents, from room readiness to meal preparations
  • Facilitate understanding of facility policies and procedures to residents and their families
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date referral information in our electronic health record system

2. Marketing/Public Relations:

  • Build productive relationships with physicians, social service departments, and other potential referral sources
  • Regularly report marketing activities and challenges to the Administrator
  • Lead Marketing Committee meetings

3. Special Event Marketing:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of engaging community events

4. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee resident room changes and liaise with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for new admissions or transfers
  • Take on other exciting responsibilities as needed
