Hill Country CASA is Hiring a Case Supervisor Near Kerrville, TX

Hill Country CASA is seeking a Case Supervisor to join our team of staff and community volunteers. Hill Country CASA is a volunteer-centric nonprofit organization that serves foster children and their families from Kerr, Kendall, Bandera and Gillespie Counties.

We are headquartered in downtown Kerrville, Texas. This is a full-time salaried position.

The Case Supervisor works with the Program Director to ensure quality services for each child who is assigned to HCCASA by the Court. The Case Supervisor also works with the Program Director to maintain accurate case and volunteer statistics for statistical reporting. He/she will work closely with volunteers, service providers, and families in both direct casework and supervisory functions.

The Case Supervisor's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 25 legal cases of families with children in foster care
  • Maintain regular supportive contact with volunteers assigned to cases, coaching and supporting their work urgently to case resolution
  • Participate and advocate for the child's best interest in case related meetings, events and court proceedings
  • Work with volunteers and Program Director to prepare, compile and e-file court reports for each statutory hearing on assigned cases
  • Maintain necessary/required case records in database program
  • As needed, travel to visit child clients (qualifies for mileage reimbursement)

We are looking for someone with the following Skills / Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn other software systems
  • Experience in social services and/or case management strongly preferred
  • Experience working in databases is preferred
  • Must pass state and federal background check
  • Must pass CPS background check
  • Must pass driving record check
  • Must undergo CASA volunteer training

The starting Case Supervisor salary range is $43,000 - $45,000 per year. We are looking to hire for a June - July 2024 start date.
