Hilco Vision is searching for a Senior Accountant to join the finance team! The Senior Accountant will perform internal control duties and record journal entries for financial activities of the organization. Ensure the month-end close process is completed accurately and within deadlines. Provide support for reporting and respond to questions related to areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3 – 4 years of experience in a General Ledger Accountant position
- Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts such as account reconciliations, amortization, and accruals
- Ability to track transactions through the system
- Experience with actual versus forecast reporting and how to explain variances
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (required); M3, Concur and Planful experience is preferred, but not required
- Intermediate MS Excel skills; pivot tables, vlookups etc.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain fixed assets and capital projects for the organization, record the related journal entries. Manage asset additions and disposals. Present monthly the capital project status and variances to budget to project managers and Executive leadership.
- Manage/review Concur spending for the organization. Ensure policies are being followed. Record related journal entries.
- Track and record journal entries as needed for: sales (i.e. reserves and reclasses), accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Complete the sales tax reconciliation and submit for payment.
- Prepare detailed expense schedules for P&L accounts related to areas of responsibility.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
- Support all audit work by providing schedules, reconciliations, and sample data.
- Complete other special projects as assigned.
