Job Description
The Project Management Analyst 2 is a member of the Program Management Office team and provides direct support and day-to-day administrative assistance to the program manager. This position will support NSWC Corona Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is a multi-discipline position which will provide day-to-day contract administration for program and project support, management and client briefing materials, deliverables, security requirement documentation, Confluence and SharePoint file management, staffing tracking, and general administrative duties for the Program Management Office (PMO) of the Prime Contractor for the NCTE.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Develop, draft, write, and edit reports, briefs, proposals, and other documents in support of a client's requirements
- Review contractual requirements and participate in defining program requirements to engineering functional areas
- Maintain SharePoint and Confluence sites that house reports, deliverables, and other contract documentation
- Provide centralized support functions to program managers and their teams
- Adhere to administrative procedures and makes recommendations to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Government regulations and HII processes affecting workflows and facility requirements
- Coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order review, and briefings/presentations
- Interface with personnel to coordinate meetings and events, maintain logs, records, and files, provide end user support, and perform general administrative duties
- Draft correspondence and streamline communications between divisions and corporate offices
- Track and maintain records, information, and data on department activities and schedules
- Prepare contract deliverables using spreadsheets, databases, Jira/Confluence, and other inputs provided
- Assist in the preparation of management plans and reports
- Coordinate with subcontractors, the security team, and the client to complete and distribute subcontract security requirement documentation
- Conduct administrative tasks and provide support associated with Human Capitol, Recruiting, and Security as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Ability to coordinate with dispersed teams
- Strong time management and self-direction
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting
- Experience working in government contracting
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira/Confluence
