Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Proven painting experience
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and flooring expertise
- Experience with snow removal
- Reliable, quick thinker, organized, and personable
Job Duties:
- Execute high-quality painting projects within the facility
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, and priming
- Maintaining building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Maintaining and repairing basic functions of the facility
- Taking care of the tools and equipment
- Making minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, Geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers
- Changing filters on HVAC equipment
