We are a fast paced brick and mortar store (who loves our customers) and we are also online. We look forward to finding the right person to join our team! We offer a wide variety of products from baby to wedding. We also do a lot of customization, so graphic design knowledge is a plus! And putting together displays is also a plus!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to calculate discounts, sales tax, and change accurately
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate department
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Basic math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of technology sales or electronics is a plus
