HIGHLANDS RANCH COMMUNITY ASSOC is Hiring a CIS Specialist Near Highlands, CO

General Statement of Duties:

Responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative functions within the Community Improvement Services (CIS) department. Primary contact, receiving/ processing submittals, complaints, homeowner requests, phone calls, and any other work-related duties as assigned or needed. Position will work directly with the Residential Coordinator. Exceptional customer service and support, ability to multitask and attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment is a must.

Supervision Received: Reports directly to the Community Improvement Services Manager with support from the Residential Coordinator

Examples of Duties: The following examples are illustrative only and not all inclusive

  • Primary contact at the CIS window/phone/email boxes. Provides excellent customer service in assisting homeowners with submissions for improvements, inquiries and/or complaints in a positive and helpful manner.
  • Ability to be comfortable and confident with HOA enforcement: ideal candidate will have previous experience with successfully challenging situations and communications.
  • Ability to effectively research.
  • Provides professional accurate information, exercising discretion and sensitivity with confidential information regarding compliance issues and process/requirements for improvement submittals in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Presents completed Improvement submittals to the Residential Coordinator.
  • Required to attend Architecture Meetings on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage multiple email boxes, daily reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned or needed.
  • Open to professional development in an evolving industry.
  • Position is primarily 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday -Friday, except for Architectural Meetings

Physical and Environmental Standards: Most work is performed indoors in a busy facility where noise and interruptions prevail. Work could also be performed outdoors in different types of conditions including, but not limited to, heat, wind, cold, rain and snow. Must be able to frequently sit, walk, stand, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, reach and lift, push or pull. Manual dexterity is needed to type, write, and answer the phone. The ability to talk and hear via the telephone and through face-to-face communication is needed. Vision requirements include near and far acuity. Upper body strength is a requisite to lift/ remove a maximum of 20 pounds unassisted and 50 pounds with assistance. EOE

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be extremely organized with the ability to multi-task at a very high level, with a high volume. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be computer proficient and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel). Strong database experience required- Netsuite preferred. Ability to work successfully both individually as well as within a team environment. Must have excellent customer service skills, calm and patient demeanor and desire to work with homeowners.

Education: College degree a plus.
