The Watervliet, NY location is currently seeking a highly self-motivated individual for an Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the office. The Office Manager provides support to the General Manager. The position is of paramount importance in fostering intercompany communication.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in an office environment, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, ability to create proper business letters and utilize proper grammar and punctuation, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ERP experience, data entry experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Position Description:
· Ensure payroll is completed in accordance with company procedures and forwarded for processing in required timeframe.
· Assist with reporting of monthly inventory
· Manage various aspects of accounts payable
· Assist with issuing purchase orders
· Monitor intercompany transactions and report to Accounting Department
· Proof orders for initial phase of invoicing process
· Interface with customers and assist with scheduling deliveries
· Interface with all employees regarding onboarding, insurance, and other assistance as needed
· Handle all mail and intercompany correspondence
· Provide excellent customer service for both customers and fellow employees
· Review and balance driver mileage trip sheets
· Coordinate company events (Christmas Party, picnics, etc.)
· Order all office supplies
· Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor
