Highland Pellets is Hiring an Utility Worker (FT) Near White, AR

Description:
  • Operate the following equipment: Loader, Sky Track, Forklift, Skid Steer, Man Lift and Scissor Lift. 
  • Groom the reclaim piles and address any issues we may have out there.
  • Check the ash conveyors and dumping the hoppers through the facility.
  •  Keep up with the fire boxes and extinguishers for their respective lines.
  •  Backup loader operator when needed through an upset condition to clean off the lines and help catch up the bins.
  •  Identify and address plugs through the facility such as the bark bin or fuel hopper and focus on keeping the tail rolls clean to ensure the plant stays operationally ready.
  •  Ability to be crossed trained in loadout, reclaim and pellet mill floor this will ensure that if there is someone to step out or move up then we have a person that can slide right into the spot.
Requirements:
  •  High school diploma or equivalent education.
  •  Two years heavy equipment experience.
  •  Must be able to complete written and field training for loader forklift skid steer and any other equipment that may be used.
  •  Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job requirements.
  •  Ability to work extended hours.
  •  Ability to climb ladders stairs scaffolding and ramps.
  •  Ability to stoop kneel crouch reach stand walk push pull lift grasp shovel rake and any necessary requirements to keep area clean and safe.
  •  Ability to work well in high places in excess of 80 feet use man lifts and work in confined spaces.
  •  Ability to work outdoors rotating shifts and lift 50 pounds required.
