Highland Pellets is Hiring a Lubrication Technician (FT) Near White, AR
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execution of the planned and preventative maintenance schedule.
Coordination and maintaining of inventory and upkeep of storage location.
Maintain detailed list of recommended type and quality of lubricant for each piece of machinery.
Draining and cleaning of reservoirs.
Mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
Grease relubrication with manual and automatic systems.
Update scheduling systems, including adding notes to system and requesting work orders for maintenance repairs and activities.
Report in writing any discrepancies or conditions that require corrective, predictive, or planned maintenance for production systems.
Must be able to analyze and understand blueprints, schematics, layout plans and other materials.
Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.
Maintain all equipment, tools, and workstations.
Ability to utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability.
Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
Effectively communicate to all team members and management any equipment deficiencies.
Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow instruction both written and verbal.
Participate in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5s projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Lubrication Technician/Mechanic required.
One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
Exceptional Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all tasks, jobs, and repairs.
Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
