Job Description
In collaboration with the Nursing Practice Quality and Safety Coordinator Outcomes Manager, and with considerable latitude for independent judgement provides, the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) promotes and contributes to the quality of nursing care provided to patients and their families/support systems throughout the hospital continuum. This nurse has a focus on wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) patient care issues using relevant theories and scientific knowledge to provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and consultation/educational support to provider and patient care staff. In collaboration with the health care team, the WOCN monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical expertise to improve patient care and patient outcomes.
PAY RANGE: $90,399.49 - $117,519.34Auto req ID
