ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Teach students the necessary skills/technical knowledge to become gainfully employed;
- Develop and revise instructional curriculum;
- Recruit students and market the program;
- Provide instruction on and access to on-the job training. Maintain records of OJT assignments;
- Develop student knowledge and awareness as to the importance of industrial safety, punctuality, personal
- Assist with employment placement of graduates;
- Create a safe and orderly learning environment:
- Ensure student achievement for all student groups by monitoring the progress of individual students and student
- Build positive school/community relations by supporting the mission of the College and facilitating cooperation
- Lead the students in developing constructive peer and student/instructor relations;
- Oversee effective and efficient student performance;
- Practice responsible fiscal, facility, and resource management;
- Model positive professional attributes;
- Attend professional meetings;
- Select and consult with advisory committee members;
- Attend commencement ceremonies;
- Other duties as assigned.

- Have a minimum of two years continuous on-the-job experience;

- Have a good rapport with students and teach with enthusiasm;
