High Tide Oil Company, Inc is currently hiring for a Full Time Experienced Diesel Mechanic.
Must be able to handle all scopes of vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance
Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
CDL Class A is a PLUS
Minimum 2 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers and equipment.
Conduct regular maintenance and service on all vehicles and equipment.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles and equipment.
Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little to no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventative Maintenance Service.
Required to remember and understand certain instructions, guidelines or other information.
Good communication skills - able to interact with a variety of people.
Able to speak and read English.
**Majority of the work is performed outside in all weather conditions**
Must be able to work evenings and weekends if required
