Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients across the lifespan.
- Perform physical examinations and assessments, diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries.
- Administer medications, including psychopharmacology, and provide health coaching and counseling.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including infection control and airway management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide education to patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care management.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a similar setting.
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to make sound decisions based on patient needs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Bilingual is a plus.
