Our mission at High Hopes Child Care is to serve families by delivering exceptional, comprehensive and inclusive child care services in the communities in which we operate.
Located in Bellevue, Nebraska, we are seeking individuals to join our team who share our vision and commitment to delivering exceptional care to children in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Currently, we are seeking to fill a Full time position as Teacher in our Infant Classroom.
Qualified individuals will:
-Have attained a minimum age of 18
-Hold a High School Diploma or GED
-Pass applicable background checks and drug screenings
-Ability to complete all required training, necessary certifications and CE requirements for role
In addition, they will possess the following characteristics/skills:
-Love working with children and have a strong desire to serve others
-Possess ability to interact with diverse personalities in a positive and professional manner at all times
-Be of strong moral character (references required)
-Maintain a neat and tidy appearance that is appropriate for the work environment at all times
-Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality along with good time management skills
-Demonstrate outstanding communication skills
-Care for children while maintaining a clean, tidy, organized, nurturing, safe and compliant environment for the children in their care.
Preferred candidates will have all previously listed qualifications in addition to the following:
-Prior experience in a licensed child care or medical facility (CDA and/or CNA a plus)
-Knowledge of and ability to comply with all applicable regulations
-Actively pursuing a career in early childhood development/education, special education or medicine
-CPR/First Aid Certification
Job Requirements:
-Play with children on a 1:1 basis as well as in a group setting ensuring all children are able to participate
-Maintain positive and professional demeanor at all times
-Ensure accuracy of all appropriate records (daily sheets, time sheets, etc.)
-Meet physical, emotional, social and developmental needs of each child
-Anticipate and adapt to changing environment in order to provide the highest level of care
-Communicate with children and parents in appropriate forum and while demonstrating effective interpersonal skills
-Ability to perform daily job duties with minimal supervisory intervention
-Ability to engage in robust physical activity to include, but not limited to sitting, standing, kneeling, lifting, jumping, dancing, walking, running, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary:$10.50-$15.00 depending on position and experience
Education:
High School Diploma or GED with Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, CDA or CNA certifications preferred.
