Little Gems Child Care is Hiring an Assistant Toddler/ Float Teacher (FT) Near Bellevue, NE

If so, then we may be the right place for you! At Little Gems Child Care we are looking for someone who wants to help children to grow. We have multiple assistant teacher spots currently available! We are a family-oriented center. That means that we don’t focus on teaching the kids 5 languages and quantum physics!! We do love them and we do engage them in age-appropriate activities to develop them physically, socially, and yes academically.
We are currently hiring for 2 positions.
Our Assistant Toddler Teacher position is for 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday.
Our floating teacher would assist in a variety of classrooms from 10-6 Monday- Friday
Requirements for this position:

Big heart, reliability & ability to work in a high-stress environment.
In case you did not know, kids don’t need to be taught how to misbehave.
You need to be willing to support other staff members when needed.
Aptitude for just playing with the kids.
If you are looking for a job where you can just stand off to the side and message your friends on your phone, this is NOT the job for you.

You would be responsible for:

Working with a Lead Teacher to assist him/her in administering the various activities for the day.
Revise lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
Collaborate with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
