Overview:

Hidden Oaks K-8 School is seeking a passionate and qualified 1st Grade Teacher to join our vibrant learning community for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a creative and rigorous curriculum aligned with Florida State Standards, focusing on reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
• Utilize data-driven instruction to differentiate learning and provide targeted interventions for students who need additional support or enrichment.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters mutual respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Effectively communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and learning goals.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

Qualifications:

• Florida State Certification in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8)
• Minimum 2 years of successful teaching experience in a Third Grade classroom
• Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional practices
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Proficient in the use of educational technology
