Hickey Smith Dodd is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney in the northern Florida area. Must have first and/or second chair trial experience.

This is a remote, work from home position, however, must be available to appear in court, at depositions, site inspections, etc. when necessary.

We are a technology-enabled law firm with a nationwide footprint. We are seeking a trial attorney with a minimum of 8 years of insurance defense experience in general liability, construction negligence litigation, products liability, premises liability, negligent security, dog bites, property damage and commercial automobile claims.

Our firm has employed a remote (work-from-home) model for our attorneys for years. Hickey Smith Dodd attorneys are supported by a full staff of paralegals, legal case assistants, docket and calendar clerks, file clerks, etc., some working remotely, some working in a traditional office environment.

Our software applications (matter management system, document management system, etc.) are maintained in a cloud-based environment which firm personnel can access from virtually anywhere an internet connection is available. We are heavily invested in the use of technology to improve the efficacy and efficiency of the practice of law, and our practice is largely paperless. Therefore, candidates should be comfortable using technology in the practice of law and have a willingness to learn new technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year, based on experience, plus performance-based bonus potential.
