Overview:
We are seeking a Parts Counter/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess strong communication skills.
Duties:
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and returns in a friendly and efficient manner
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor and maintain inventory control to ensure stock availability
- Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
- Support order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands
- Utilize retail math skills for pricing and discounts
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus
- Contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for customers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory control
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Understanding of retail math concepts for pricing
