Job Summary: 

The Warranty Booker / Assistant assists with booking warranty claims for the dealership.

Supervisory Responsibilities - None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing warranty documentation according to manufacturer guidelines
• Submitting claims quickly and efficiently
• Following up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly
• Adjusting and resubmitting any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work
• Keeping accurate inventory of ordered warranty parts and organizing vendor paperwork
• Reviewing claims for equipment and determining which ones are covered by a warranty
• Entering the items into computers and submitting requests for fulfillment
• Maintaining databases of customers and warranty parts
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Filing and/or warranty experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed.
• Must be able to multitask.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
