Laundry Technician Position Goal

Under the direction of the Manager, the Laundry Technician performs the production activities for linen—including folding, ironing, sorting, etc.—to ensure adequate supplies are available for the day-to-day needs of each facility and department served. This position receives soiled linen, utilizes proper PPE to minimize infection control issues, and separates the soiled linen for the wash process. The laundry technician packs and transports clean laundry to the dock and also weighs and records the textile weight to ensure proper billing.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• 1 year commercial laundry experience preferred.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
