The Optometry Technician Tallows us to maintain a high level of patient care, along with efficient patient flow and scheduling

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment. Assess patient’s conditions: take vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, respiration, height and weight, and BMI. Document this information in the patient’s medical records (eClinicalWorks).
• Perform vision tests as requested. Prepare examination rooms and stocking rooms with appropriate medical supplies.
• Pretests patients prior to seeing doctor, including use of auto-refractor, NCT, lensometer, visual field testing OCT and fundus photography.

What you need to succeed

To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 year Optometry experience preferred
• Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office Suite skill
• Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or any other languages
• Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
