Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and installing cabinets and other wooden fixtures according to specifications. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will contribute to the overall quality of our products.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine the dimensions, materials, and installation procedures for cabinets
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials (such as wood, plastic, or fiberglass) to construct cabinets and other wooden fixtures
- Install cabinets in designated areas, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
- Apply finishes such as varnish or paint to enhance the appearance of cabinets
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or fixtures as needed
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to cabinet making
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction or installation
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials if required
