Hexagon PPM is Hiring a Remote Software Developer (Remote - United States)
Responsibilities
Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking to hire a Software Developer to work within a cross-functional team to provide high value solutions to complex problems. Under minimal supervision, the individual will be responsible for the ongoing development, customization, support, and maintenance of production web applications for the purpose of facilitating Hexagon business and customer processes related to license management. These web portals allow external customers to manage their software licenses, including analysis and reporting of that licensing information. Individual will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Responsibilities include web, API, and database development. Technologies include C#, Asp.Net, .Net Core, Webpack, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, REST, and SQL Server.
- Work in an Agile environment using Scrum processes and XP development techniques
- Will do regular demos of functionality to a product owner and end users.
- Support a system used by hundreds of employees and thousands of customers and may interface directly with users to provide quick resolution to critical support issues.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of high value solutions to complex problems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Some experience in software development, enterprise solutions, or relevant technical field
- Experience with C#, ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Relational database and SQL querying skills
- Experience with a source control management solution
- A strong understanding of object-oriented design
- Understanding of SOLID or clean code principles
- Individual must be able to work under minimal supervision and must have strong communication skills to work directly with customers and peers.
- Adherence to coding standards and change management, source control, and release management processes
- Good documentation skills are expected.
Preferred
- Experience in the latest version of SQL Server
- Experience with TypeScript, RESTful APIs, OData, and OAuth
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Teams
- Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD concepts such as build automation, automated testing and continuous delivery
- Experience with network and web security
