Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Parts Associate to join our team at Hessert Chevrolet in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time individual contributor role, providing excellent customer service within the auto industry. As a Parts Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle part needs and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to customers' needs and assist them in finding the appropriate parts for their vehicles
- Provide accurate and timely quotes for parts and services
- Process parts orders and accurately track inventory levels
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely repair of vehicles
- Stay current with new parts and product information
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets set by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry and/or customer service field
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
