Position: Hadoop Technical lead
Location: Bay Area, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 10 years of overall IT experience and with at least 6 year of experience in defining, designing and developing Big Data Applications.
• Must have hands-on experience in Big Data Technologies i.e. Apache Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hive, PIG, Sqoop, Flume etc.
• Knowledge of Hadoop architecture and Hadoop Distributed File System, Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficient in setting up and working with huge Hadoop clusters, cluster monitoring, and maintenance.
• Must have hands on experience in modelling in predictive analysis.
• Strong technical skills on Spark, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Flume, Java, Scala, Pig, Python etc .
• Experienced in working with structured or unstructured data sets.
• Requirements Gathering, designing and developing scalable big data solutions with Hadoop.
• Familiarity with data loading tools like Flume and Sqoop.
• Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like Oozie.
