Department: Housekeeping
Shift: Full-time, 7a - 3:30p with rotating weekends and holidays

OUR HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT POSITION

The primary function of this position is to perform the day-to-day housekeeping and cleaning activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with all federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations which govern the facility, and, as directed by the Director of Environmental Services and/or Executive Director so as to ensure facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate housekeeper to ensure our residents enjoy bright and clean living, dining and activity spaces.

TOP AREAS OF FOCUS FOR OUR HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANTS

• Clean all assigned areas, including resident rooms and common areas, and follow cleaning schedule as directed.
• Prepare rooms for new occupants.
• Take trash to dumpster, breaking down cardboard boxes.
• Assist in transport of resident belongings as necessary.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a clean, orderly manner.
• Always exhibit a high-level of professionalism.

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to bend, lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally push carts weighing up to one hundred (100) pounds. Other physical requirements can be shared during interview.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but not a requirement.
