Heritage Valley Health System is Hiring a Medical Assistant (ConvenientCare Casual Premium) Near Beaver, PA
Work Location: All Convenient Care locations as assigned
Work Hours: MEDICAL ASSISTANT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of three full 12-hour weekday shifts per month;
2. One full weekend is required per month; weekend schedule is comprised of one 12-hr (Saturday) and one 8-hr shift (Sunday); and
3. One holiday per year must be scheduled. The hourly wage while working on a holiday will be time and a half.
Shifts: Availability to work both 12 and 8 hour full shifts
Location: Availability to work shifts at all CC locations as assigned
The Medical Assistant provides selective medical services including standard medical assistant responsibilities as well as specialized testing under the direction of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician, to coordinate medical service needs of the patients served.
Required
High School graduate or equivalent. CPR certification. Certification in urine drug testing – must obtain within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred
Associate degree program; Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, or NCCT NCMA), minimum of one year medical assisting; Computer experience.
