Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing techniques
- Experience in behavioral health settings
- Proficiency in gastric lavage procedures
- Familiarity with acute care protocols and practices
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
- Ability to administer inhaled medications effectively
- Proficiency in using Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and interpretation of results
- Experience in dementia care is a plus

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
