Heritage Insurance is Hiring an Insurance Customer Service Representative Near Hastings, NE

In this CSR position you will work alongside seasoned insurance professionals who are driven yet still like to have fun daily. Responsibilities

  • Reach out to personal lines clients prior to renewal and learn if their needs have changed.
  • Generate quotes with multiple strong insurance carriers using online rating tools and carrier websites.
  • Prepare comparison of top options and present to client.
  • Answer questions and execute client's selections with proper signed documentation.
  • Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies, taking payments, providing ID cards, etc.
  • Process endorsement requests through carrier websites.
  • Turn in new claims and follow up with adjusters as needed.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, recording details in the agency management system.
  • Follow up on suspense items timely.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure continued excellent customer service and overall agency growth.

Qualifications

  • Preferably hold NE P&C insurance license and have at least 1 year insurance CSR experience.
  • Show initiative by completing duties independently.
  • Reliable work attendance.
  • Exhibit confidence, teamwork and willingness to take on new duties.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi- tasking, and follow up skills.
  • Able to handle occasional challenging situations with customers and solve problems without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, quoting procedures, and underwriting processes.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills as well as technology and computer proficiency. Ability to operate agency management systems, online rating tools, and carrier website navigation.

  • While our ideal candidate would already be licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, we will consider training the right candidate.
