- Read copy of cutting ticket carefully to determine monogram, size, color, and placement.
- Use computer to produce the correct loaded hoop on the sewing head and calls up the correct monogram to sew.
- Monitor machines to control quality.
- Remove sewn pieces, trims threads and removes backing.
- Obtain pieces from cutting room for replacements and samples.
- Monitor inventory of thread, backing and other supplies, reports to supervisor if supplies are getting low.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet/exceed efficiency goals.
- Ability to comprehend and process information.
- Notice when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
- Concentrate and not be distracted while performing a task.
- Combine several pieces of information and draw conclusions.
- Physical Qualifications – daily activity includes but is not limited to lifting, carrying, sitting, fingering, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking; standing or moving throughout an 8 hour shift; be able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs; noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above.
