Here Tomorrow is hiring a Volunteer Team Manager as a full-time position in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Here Tomorrow reimagined suicide prevention and developed an innovative approach to providing same-day mental health support to people at risk for suicide and family members worried about the safety of a loved one. Here Tomorrow encourages applications from people of all races, religions, national origins, genders, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, and ages, as well as veterans and individuals with disabilities.Position Summary: The Volunteer Team Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the volunteer program, including recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of volunteers and interns. The central responsibility and primary focus of this role is to provide daily coaching, supervision, support, and training to members of the volunteer team. As a key leader, this position works with the peer support team managers to implement strategies and projects to help the daily operation run smoothly and broaden community impact. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring that each touchpoint across the customer journey is engaging, efficient, and effective. This position is responsible for tracking and reporting customer service metrics and as member of the leadership team, will analyze outcomes and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our volunteer program that creates opportunities for growth, learning and advancement.
  • Lead volunteer recruitment, orientation, onboarding, and training of volunteers
  • Provide daily coaching, supervision, and support to volunteers.
  • Work closely with peer support team to ensure a seamless experience for callers.
  • Use information from service recipient experience to gain insights and create transformative service recipient experiences.
  • Increase stakeholder satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy at every touchpoint.
  • Expand volunteer base through community outreach and collaboration.
  • Monitor, track and analyze phone system and website chat data to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Support team members as needed with other projects.
  • Promote a human-centered approach to serving people with mental health conditions.
  • Live the Here Tomorrow mission and organizational values of love, sharing, accountability, and perseverance.

Position Status and Qualifications:This is a full-time exempt position with health benefits. A college degree, extensive experience with business operations and program development a plus. A track record of growth and inspiring teams to excel and achieve results. Experience managing a call center is a plus. A passion for inspiring hope and helping others. To be considered for employment at Here Tomorrow, applicants who have used our services as a Friend must have either a two-year gap since their last session or be at least two years post program completion.
