What's the role?

The HERE Navigation team is building a next-generation, highly customizable embedded navigation product. • Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from requirements clarification, design, development, integration, testing and release.
• Work on challenging problems and collaborate efficiently with highly technical colleagues across teams.
• Design, develop and ship exciting new features for the automotive industry.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the product.

Who are you?

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Relevant experience as a C software engineer, preferably with C 17
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented software engineering
• Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell)
• Good communication skills, ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex topics

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in automotive space
• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices, covering the full software engineering lifecycle
• Experience with AOSP based android systems
• Experience with Typescript/Javascript
