What's the role?
We are looking for a skilled software engineer with a strong background in TypeScript /JavaScript development, a strong grasp of performance optimization and cross-platform development, interest in cutting-edge technologies and enthusiasm to join our Location Services Research & Development team.
If you are a passionate engineer, we want you to join the team to develop the world's best cross-platform mapping offering that will stretch the boundaries of modern web platforms.

- Creation of the next generation 3D web-based map offering with cutting edge technologies
- Design and implementation of mapping-related high-performance components for desktop and mobile use
Who are you?
Skill and experience:
- Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience in computer graphics (Three.js, WebGL)
- Good understanding of software algorithms and data structures
- Ability to write clean and tested code
- Experience in maintaining large code base with long lifecycles
- Experience in developing multi-platform client-side web applications (mobile and desktop)
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented software engineering
- Experience in Agile software development (SCRUM)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
Would be a plus:
- Experience in GIS-related problem solving
- Understanding of web application performance optimization
- Experience with common JavaScript Maps APIs
