Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Laborer to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations and performing in home deliveries. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. You will be required to work out of town for an average of 4-6 day stretches, depending on the direction/route for that week. Lifting sometimes heavy furniture is a regular part of the job, including carrying items up stairs with a second person. Food & expenses are covered, including some team extra curricular activities.

Responsibilities:

- You must be able to be gone from home for up to 6 days a week. Jobs are out of town and overnight.

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including Cargo Vans, and pulling trailers.

- Load and unload goods and materials using muscle and in some cases dolley's.

- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery.

- Wrapping and protecting furniture for transport. Securing them within the trucks.

- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

- Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding any issues or delays.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Commercial driving experience preferred

- Familiarity with warehouse operations and loading/unloading procedures

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions. We offer competitive compensation based on skill level and experience. Training will be paid, and pay can be discussed upon completion of training based on skill level abilities, and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
