Herbruck Poultry Ranch is Hiring a Maintenance l-Landscaping (seasonal) Near Saranac, MI

1st shift, Seasonal
Position Summary: Primary responsibility is to assist the maintenance team and with maintaining outdoor spaces. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks to ensure that lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas are well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic maintenance knowledge, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.Position Responsibilities:

Mow lawns using manual or motorized equipment.
Trim and edge lawns to maintain a neat and uniform appearance.
Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
Plant, transplant, and prune flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Weed and mulch to control unwanted growth.
Repair or replace damaged paving stones or bricks.
Clean and maintain paths, walkways, and other hardscape features.
Collect and dispose of litter, leaves, and other debris from outdoor areas.
Keep outdoor spaces free of clutter and hazards.
Assist with seasonal tasks.
Additional tasks as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of plant care and landscaping techniques is helpful.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform essential functions of the job.
Capable of working weekends and maintaining a flexible schedule. This includes regularly scheduled shifts. Saturday and Sunday as well.
Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
