The Herbivore Cannabis Dispensary of Napa Valley is seeking stellar personalities to join our elite team of Budtenders. Our candidates require SENIOR SALES EXPERIENCE as much as an exceptional understanding of the cannabis category – product quality, brands and strains. Like our current staff of experts – we ask that candidates be ambitious and reliable, that they have a passion for Hospitality and are dedicated to learning more about the emerging Cannabis business. You will possess excellent social skills with a knack for establishing a friendly rapport with our guests. In this position you will hit the ground running so your knowledge of Cannabis, Sales and Hospitality will be tested immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Have EXPERIENCE at a SENIOR LEVEL in SALES and EXCEPTIONAL KNOWLEDGE of today’s_ CANNABIS BRANDS, PROFILES and APPLICATIONS_

· Have worked and/or are currently working in the Cannabis Business with an excellent understanding of the category

· Have a sound SALES demeanor and underdtand the process of opening - closing and debit, credit and cash transactions … you are engaging and comfortable sparking conversation with guests and managing the sales process --- educating – presenting – upselling – closing the sale

· Possess an understanding of the Hospitality ‘Guest Experience’ aspect of Sales and Service

· Knowledgeable about Cannabis / and Cannabis products (categories)

· Will be required to cover various areas of the business including light Administrative and Reception duties such as checking-in guests and registering them to our ‘op’ system

· Will be a passionate advocate for the company through Social Media and word of mouth

· Mac and PC knowledge … POS and cash register experience is a BIG

- Possess experience in 'light' Book keeping practices and daily financial SOW tasks for a Retail operation

- Are physically capable to work in a demanding fast paced retail environment which will require standing / walking for a full eight hour daily shift; lifting of boxes and in the transport of goods from our inventory room to the sales floor; capable of executing light clean up detail; are comfortable operating a cash register

· Please indicate any MANAGERIAL Experience you possess and other proficiency in daily retail protocol that may include; Opening / Closing of Storefront; Inventory and Metrc check in of Cannabis products; Accounting and Book keeping; Management and Leadership experience … etc. These SKILLS are valuable to your position - YOU are who we are looking for !!

SALARY / BENEFITS:

• This is a PART TIME - FULL TIME position (20-38 hours per week) depending upon interest and skill set.
• We can offer a flexible schedule based on our operating hours of 11:00 am – 7:00 pm Tuesday-Sunday (Monday’s closed) and candidate availability.
• We offer a competitive hourly wage commensurate to ‘experience’ (TBD) based on candidate Resumé - $19 - $23 ( tips) = total compensation will be aprox. $25-28 per hour with tips
• Substantial associate and staff discounts of 30% off all Cannabis products and merchandise
• Vacation time is not ‘paid’ – however it can be facilitated as per advanced notice
• No other benefits at this time
