The Land Management Technician II performs a wide variety of duties involved in landscaping maintenance of reservoir grounds, maintenance of reservoir dams, and construction and maintenance of trails, docks, and structures at HCWA reservoirs. May participate in recreational and educational activities and events conducted by the department. Work requires physical strength and manipulative skill. General supervision is received and work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion. Some work may be performed on weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Georgia Driver's License. Must be at least 21 years of age.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and vibration.
