YOUR ROLE

The Technical Operator is responsible for troubleshootingand repairing mechanical issues on packaging line equipment while minimizingthe interruption to production. The individual in this role is alsoexpected to operate equipment on a regular basis when maintenance issues arenot being addressed.

  • Troubleshoot, repair and make adjustments to packaging line equipment.
  • Clean and change over packaging line equipment as necessary with minimal downtime.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Operate packaging line equipment.
  • Follow and maintain equipment centerlines.
  • Perform basic to intermediate mechanical activities.

YOUR SKILLS

  • 2 to 3 years of current or recent production operation or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging equipment (mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors) as well as hand and power tools.
  • Availability to work 2nd shift (2:30PM – 10:30PM) schedule as well as weekend overtime shifts as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational/technical coursework preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate computer (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and math skill.
  • Intermediate to advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures.

The salary for thisrole is $23.83. This position offers a $1.25 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift. This is the range that we in good faith anticipaterelying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately paymore or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range mayalso be modified in the future.
