CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (PHARMA)

Job description

Communicating with Clients/Owner’s Representatives is a major component of this position. Great interpersonal skills are required to be a project manager at Henderson.

Responsible for cost, quality, schedule, safety, and overall project management.

Preconstruction Phase: Develop initial schedule, site logistics, phasing plans, assist in general conditions and project approach; project team coordination (goal setting, responsibility, etc.); client criteria implementation (insurance requirements/bond requirements/billing procedures/financial reporting, etc.); client contract development/execution assistance; permit submission.

Construction Phase: Update construction schedule; subcontractor contract development; subcontractor proposal solicitation; trade bid comparisons; subcontractor contract award and scope development (develop progress billings and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices; monthly budget reports; owner change orders; material control schedules; submittal processing/coordination; Subcontractor change orders; weekly job meeting implementation; job meeting minutes and distribution; expediting manpower and materials; testing coordination and report distribution (safety program implementation); monitoring job cost reports; progress billing, certification sign-offs, and follow-up.

- Coordination of all Architectural/Engineering Efforts.

Desired Skills and Experience

Preferred 4 year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager is desired.

Demonstrate competency in: scheduling, budget/cost control, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, ability to communicate, both written and oral, leadership and organizational skills.

Competent in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications. These include: Procore, Primavera, Excel, Word, Office, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
