Overview:
We are seeking a experienced, highly skilled and professional Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. As a Bilingual Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your exceptional customer service skills and fluency in both English and Spanish will be essential in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, or Eaglesoft
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Assist with medical scheduling and ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Provide administrative support to the medical office staff as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, or Eaglesoft is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using office equipment and computer systems
