SUMMARY
Housing for Health (HFH) provides housing and supportive services to LA County Department of Health Services (DHS) clients who are experiencing homelessness and who have complex medical and/or behavioral health conditions. Since its inception, HFH has expanded to provide a continuum of housing and supportive services to unhoused country residents. HFH is now one of the two largest homeless housing and services entities in Los Angeles County. The Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) provides countywide criminal justice diversion for individuals with mental and/or substance use disorders, places them in housing and provides case management and physical and behavioral health care.
The Staff Development Specialist will design, develop, implement and evaluate training for the Comprehensive Health Accompaniment and Management Platform (CHAMP), a computer system that manages data for housing, benefits advocacy, case management and other services. The system is used by hundreds of community service providers and this position provides training to internal and external CHAMP users. This position also requires working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to analyze training needs, determine learning outcomes, gather content, and recommend the most appropriate training modalities.
The person in this position should be committed to quality training, have experience and knowledge in training on IT/software systems, possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills, and be able to create innovative and engaging learning experiences.
This is a temporary, grant-funded, full-time, benefited position. Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
