Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Waltham, Massachusetts.
A lovely family in Waltham is looking for a part time nanny (transitioning to full time in 2024) for their 2 year old son on Mondays and 4 year old daughter on Wednesdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Mom will be home caring for their newborn, but infant care will eventually be needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays. The nanny will only be expected to provide care for one child at a time. Potential for additional care hours, up to 30 hours, if preferred. Someone easy-going, engaging, and flexible in providing care will be ideal!
- Currently: Monday & Wednesday from 8am-5pm
- Once Mom returns to work (around April 2024): Monday and Wednesday (9am-4pm), Thursday and/or Friday from 9am-5pm
- Start date: October
- End date: Potential for long term care
- Rate: $20 -25/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent care for two children (2 and 4 yrs.)
- Eventual infant care (starting around April 2024)
- Engaging, age-appropriate play and activities
- Meals and snacks as needed
- Nap routine (2 yr. old currently, infant eventually)
- Careful monitoring of 4 yr. old’s tree nut and fish allergies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience (toddler & infant a must)
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
Compensation: This position pays $20 - 25 per hour and the client is looking for care for approximately 18 hours currently (changing to 30 hours around April 2024) per week long term.
