Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Male Caregiver to provide assistance to our elderly male client in Montgomery, AL, 36106. The ideal candidate should have experience in caregiving and be able to provide quality care to our client.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medication as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with mobility and transfer as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the client
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
Requirements
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. The caregiver will be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
