Regional Business Partner (HR)
Our Regional Business Partner (HR) is a consultant to the business on HR-related issues and helps develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support the overall business objectives. In this consultative role, you will team up with leaders within your assigned region to support their teams, retain top-tier talent, and work collaboratively on people issues, offering guidance and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
As a strategic HR advisor, you will work closely with the VP of People Operations to understand and execute the organization's strategic objectives for workforce planning, training, talent retention, and compensation and foster the company's vibrant culture..
Required Skills and Competencies
✔ A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or Organizational Development
✔ At least five years of strategic HR Business Partner experience, being a professional HR representative with a history of collaboration and leadership development
✔ Self-motivated and ability to multitask and manage competing important priorities
✔ Strong analytical skills, ability to convey complex data in a simplified, actionable way
✔ Computer skills in using spreadsheets, word processing, and HR software
✔ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems
✔ Must have SHRM or HRCI certification, with extensive knowledge of various state laws related to human resources
✔ Confident in coaching, providing opinion and feedback to leaders, able to navigate a matrixed organization with various stakeholders
✔ Ability to travel to regional locations as needed; 60% travel required for this role
✔ Ability to consistently produce high-quality work, ensuring accuracy and precision
✔ Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with others, seeking out and building positive working relationships
✔ Communication skills must be strong to convey information clearly and effectively (both verbally and written) to individuals and groups in a manner that informs and engages
✔ A master's degree in human resource development or additional equivalent experience and experience working in a for-profit healthcare environment are preferred.
