Individualized Learning Support Specialist - After-Hours Program

Hello ABA, a company dedicated to supporting both our staff and kids, is looking for an enthusiastic special education teacher’s assistant to join our after-hours program. We aim to attract passionate individuals who share our commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives of children with diverse needs.
Position: Individualized Learning Support Specialist
Location: in home setting
Hours: Part-time, Evenings
Compensation: Hourly rate between $23.00 and $28.50, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with children, fostering growth and providing tailored assistance.
- Collaborate closely with lead teachers and specialists to implement personalized support plans.
- Create and facilitate engaging activities tailored to each child's unique learning style.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere that encourages individual growth and development.
- Document and communicate detailed progress updates to parents and the school team.
- Promote social-emotional growth and independence in a personalized setting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in one-on-one support for children with diverse needs is highly desirable.
- A background in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for creating personalized learning environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
